Almost all of UFC London, local fans were given plenty to cheer about. Blades was declared the winner by TKO, although he was not happy with how the fight went.

“It’s almost like we didn’t even fight,” Blades said after the win. “I came here to prove a statement. Aspinall is legit. … I don’t even know what to say. I’m sorry, man. … We didn’t get a chance to show both. Us. Our skills. He got his stuff, and I got him. Got. Got stuff. I wanted to see who got the good stuff.”

It was the second straight UFC main event to end with an injury after Brian Ortega suffered a shoulder injury against Yar Rodriguez on July 16.
