Beginning his career in 2017, Hill began his professional career 5-0, four of five fights under the Knockouts promotion banner. Hill defeated future UFC fighter Dequan Townsend in his fourth professional fight, although Townsend had 26 pro appearances before that fight.

Hill then received a call-up to appear at Dana White’s Contender Series 21 in 2019, where Hill defeated opponent Alexander Popek via second-round ground and pound to earn his UFC contract.

He initially won the fight by technical knockout in the first round, but the fight was later overturned on September 3 when Hill tested positive for marijuana. He was suspended for six months and fined 15% of his fight purse.

Hill faces Ovince Saint Preux at UFC on ESPN 19 on December 5, 2020. At the weigh-in, former interim UFC light heavyweight championship challenger Ovince St. Preux weighed in at 207.5 pounds, a pound and a half lighter than the light heavyweight non-title. Craig dislocated Heel’s elbow by locking in an armbar early in the first round, but Heel did not tap and was hit with numerous elbow strikes, losing by technical knockout in the first round.

Hill was scheduled to face Jimmy Krut at UFC Fight Night 193 on October 2, 2021. But in early September, the fight was rescheduled for two months later at UFC on ESPN: Font vs. Aldo. Hill won the fight by knockout in the first round. In his first UFC main event, Hill faced Johnnie Walker on February 19, 2022, at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Hill. He easily won the fight by knockout in the first round. The win earned Hill his second Performance of the Night bonus award.

He is scheduled to face Thiago Santos on August 6, 2022, at UFC.
